Safari Tent 1 is open-plan canvas on a platform beneath the trees, with a queen bed, a set of single bunks, its own bathroom, a kitchenette, and an outdoor bath tub. Canvas lets everything in: filtered light through the trees, the wind in the branches overhead, birdsong at dawn, the sound of the bush settling at night. Simple, comfortable, and close to all of it. It sleeps four.
Struck-through dates are booked. Choose a check-in date, then a check-out date. Rates and the final booking are on the next page.

The residence
Canvas on a timber platform among the trees: open plan, a queen bed and a set of single bunks, your own bathroom, and a kitchenette with an induction hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, an espresso machine, and an air fryer. The bath is outdoors on the deck under the awning, with the estuary through the trees.
At Bluestone Encampment, each residence at Bluestone Encampment (the Cabins, Safari Tent 1 and Safari Tent 2) has its own bathroom and its own kitchen or kitchenette. When booked individually, the swimming pool and the laundry are shared with the other Encampment guests. Book Bluestone Encampment on a sole occupancy basis and the whole property and its facilities are yours alone.

The grounds
The tent sits above the estuary inlet, with shifting tides in view from the deck and outdoor bath. Beyond, a vast lawn is made for games and kids running free, with native bush all around and an adventure playground tucked among the trees. The pool pavilion and laundry are a short walk away, shared with the Cabins and Safari Tent 2 unless the Encampment is booked for sole occupancy.

Amenities
Canvas on a timber platform beneath the trees at Bluestone Encampment, on Bluestone Estate: one open-plan room with a queen bed, a set of single bunks, a bathroom of your own, and a kitchenette. The canvas rolls back to the deck. It is a tent in the sense that the walls are canvas and the bush is right there, and a residence in every other sense.
Four: the queen and the single bunks. Four is the limit. For more, add Safari Tent 2 and the Cabins, or book sole occupancy of Bluestone Encampment for twelve.

Yes. It sits on your own deck, under the awning and among the trees, and the deck is yours alone.
The tent, its deck, and its bath are yours alone and completely private. Safari Tent 2 and the Cabins are separate residences on the property with their own guests. The swimming pool and the laundry are shared when the residences are booked separately. Book sole occupancy of Bluestone Encampment and the whole property is yours.
