Questions

How is Safari Tent 2 different from Safari Tent 1?

The two tents sleep the same four, each with its own bathroom and kitchenette. Safari Tent 1 has a bath outdoors on its deck; Safari Tent 2 does not. Both have outdoor dining, and look through the trees to the estuary at Bluestone Encampment, on Bluestone Estate.

How many people can stay?

Four: a queen bed and a set of single bunks. Four is the limit. Book Safari Tent 1 as well for eight, or sole occupancy of Bluestone Encampment for twelve.

Is there a bathroom?

Yes, your own, with a shower.

Can we cook?

Yes. In true glamping style, there's an electric Weber barbecue and a well-equipped kitchenette with an induction hob, fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine and air fryer, with tea and coffee waiting. Pantry provisioning can also be arranged before you arrive.

Is Safari Tent 2 private?

The tent and its deck are yours alone and completely private. Safari Tent 1 and the Cabins are separate residences on the property with their own guests. The swimming pool and the laundry are shared when the residences are booked separately. Book sole occupancy of Bluestone Encampment and the whole property is yours.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. The bunks are made for them, and a tent in the bush is the kind of thing children remember. The tent is in the bush and close to the water, so they need the same supervision they would anywhere beside water and trees.
